Kenden and the cake

Dad did four wheeler rides for everyone.

Kenden and one of his presents.

We have been busy!! In the last couple weeks Kenden turned ONE!! Already... we had a fun party and he wouldn't eat the cake. He had too many chips with dinner, they made him a bit sick to his stomach. He also started walking about a week before his birthday. And Kaleb decided to potty trainee. We are on day 5 and counting of no accidents day or night.

Camping in March...Yes we are crazy!

The fisherman, he stood in a freezing river for 3 days with no fish (for the non anglers sucker fish and white fish don't count as fish, he caught a few of those).
Preston wadded into the river and Kaleb didn't see the problem with fallowing him.

Kenden loved playing outside chasing brother and riding the four wheeler where his favorite.

Kaleb catching his "fish".
Last week was Spring Break, we decided to do something out of the ordinary and went steel head fishing. You may not know what a steel head is, it is a trout that goes to the ocean and then back inland for spawning. Idaho is the only land lock state that gets steel head. So we thought we would see how they were biting. The biting was not so good but we had a blast. Kaleb caught a sucker...kind of... someone else hooked it and they put it on his line and let him bring it in. He loved it. And after they got out he wanted to know what the fish was saying to him. The boys loved being outside and after our little adventure I think that they may prefer to live outside.

I will get to it... sooner or later...

Kenden's new trick.
Kaleb with shampoo in his hair. Picture perfect moment.

So I think sometimes why do people take so long to update their blogs... Well I take forever sometimes. Life happens and we just don't get to it so here is our update. Kaleb was so grouchy and we thought man this two thing is hard... well Preston was brushing Kalebs teeth and he starts complaining and Preston looks in and low and behold there are two top molars trying to push in. So although Kaleb is two he is also teething which made for the extreme grouch, but can you really blame him? Kaleb also climbed in the shower the other day, while i was cleaning the bathroom, and then pored shampoo in his hair. We found him in the shower rubbing his head with my loo fa saying mom it wont come out. And Kenden just wants to do everything that Kaleb does. The other day he climbed up the bottom step of Kalebs stool, and just looked at us like so what are you going to do about it?? I am going to find a way to play on this bed with or with out you help. Preston just started a new semester. He will finish his tech stuff in December so pretty much a year left yeah!! I am still learning to find a balance in life. between My awesome husband, being a mom and homemaker. when i am lucky i through in some Courtney time, but so goes life. I guess we are all health and happy what more could we ask for.

Thankgiving and Christmas Tree

Kenden started crawling about a week and a half ago. But three days after he was pulling himself up to things. Even standing holding on with only one hand! It is funny how with your first baby you can't wait for him to do all these things, but with your next baby it makes you a little sad, and you think not already. Before we know it he will be walking... They really don't stay little very long. Turkey day Turkey Trot! Manda,Preston,Courtney,"Papa Scary", Zak

Kenden he was so much help with the Christmas tree, obviously...
Kaleb helping with the tree...at least he is rewarded for not taking things off.

Our finished product...

Playing Together

Kaleb is learning to play with his brother. They play trains together a lot (who would have guessed). The other day they were playing with the trains together and it was so cute, I wanted a picture but as soon as they both saw the camera my candid shot of them playing was out of the question. Instead the both posed happily. Kaleb was determined that we got a picture with the train so you can see the very end of the train. Kenden has been learning to eat all sorts of things and he loves it. When we eat we have to put him in the high chair and give him snacks. The other morning he was ready for a nap when it was time to eat and inevitably he feel asleep eating ,it was adorable. He even had a few bites in his sleep.
He is trying so hard to crawl and we are trying to catch it on video, but he loves the camera so it is hard. This is a clip of one of our attempts as he army crawls with Kaleb as his background cheerleader.

Wedding fun!

My sister Amber had a zombie wedding this weekend. Congrats Amber and Gabe! We have been super busy this month but that is life, I guess. Kaleb has become quite the negotiator. He saw a Christmas present at Nana's and persuaded her (it didn't take much) that he needed the truck right now. He heard us talking about getting another one and decided that there must be another one in her room. He closed her in there and told her "find the truck., in the closet". It was probably funnier if you were there, but oh well. He expresses himself with his hands too and it can be hilarious to watch. He also had a lot of fun at Papa's playing with Zak and calling "Papa, Papa, come here" all weekend. Kenden has started army crawling and I find him everywhere, there is little that will stop him now from getting what he wants. Kaleb at the wedding playing.
An extremely handsome man and Kenden watching the ceremony.
